Church Ceremonies
For ceremonies at Harty church you may wish to start slightly later as traffic will not be an issue! We strongly advise all church ceremonies begin no later than 12.30/1pm, otherwise the day can quickly get behind and feel rushed with the travel time included.

Timings on the Day... Your timings for your day will have been planned in detail well in advance on your itinerary. From our point of view on the day, we work as hard as possible to run to these timings, and will remind you of when certain things need to be done, so you don’t need to be watching the clock and can relax.
If on the day we can tell things are running a little behind, we will not force the pre-agreed timings, but bend them to suit. However, if there are considerable delays to your day, it is important to note that we will have to compromise on certain things. For example, if unforeseen circumstances result in you running late by half an hour or more for your ceremony, your allotted time for your drinks reception may be reduced so we can ‘make up time’ and keep the rest of your day running to plan.
This only occurs in rare circumstances, and we will always liaise with yourselves/photographers etc. so no one is kept out of the loop as to what is going on.
Speeches We recommend that speeches take place after the meal, before evening guests arrive. If you'd prefer the speeches to take place before the meal, we can accommodate this, but please speak to your wedding coordinator about the implications of this. If you are having a Hog Roast/Buffet/similar we strongly advise against doing speeches before the meal, as this creates a delay in the day and we want everything to run as smoothly as possible for you.
