We ask that you send your menu choices through to us as soon as you have made your choices. Ideally, at least 8 months prior to your wedding - this is so we are able to get them signed off by the Chef's in time for your invites being sent about 6 months prior to your wedding.
3 Course, 1 Choice This option is nice and easy for you. It works best if you choose a simpler food option that most guests will enjoy. Once chosen, you must email your menu choices to a member of the team. We will confirm with the Chef’s and email back your choices, including full dish descriptions. When you send out your invitations, you only need to ask if guests are vegetarian or if they have any other dietary requirements or allergies, so you can then pass this information on to us at the same time you finalise your table plan. Once you have this information back, you can then choose a separate vegetarian option for starters and mains to suit any vegetarian guests you have to cater for (if it's only one person, then you can always ask them to decide what the option they'd like!).
3 Course, 3 Choice If you choose this option, you can select a more varied menu. Your 3 choices per course must include a vegetarian option (i.e. it is not 3 choices plus a vegetarian dish as well) Once chosen, you must email your menu choices to a member of the team. We will confirm with the Chef’s and email back your choices, including full dish descriptions. It is important that you include your menu options in full on your invites, and ensure all your RSVP’s have filled in their menu choices correctly. We will send you a template spreadsheet for you to collate all of your responses onto. Once done, please email back to us, as we will double check all the totals are correct. This template spreadsheet we email you is the only format we will accept your menu choices in. Please do also write guests menu choices on the backs of their name places because your guests will often forgot what they've chosen!
Hog Roast Although the accompaniments are already outlined on the wedding menu, you still need to decide which dessert you'd like to offer. If you choose 1 dessert option, this will be waited to the tables for your guests. If you choose 2 dessert options, your guests will self-serve their dessert. If you decide on two options, please note that if one of the choices is more popular with the first few tables, the last few tables might be left with just the one choice for their dessert as we make an even amount of each of your dessert choices. Once decided, they need to be sent to us to be signed off by our Chef’s before your invites are sent. When you send out your invitations, you only need to ask if guests are vegetarian or if they have any other dietary requirements or allergies, so you can then pass this information on to us at the same time you finalise your table plan.
Buffet Please select which of the Buffet option's you'd like to offer, then please also make your selections on the items which require a choice. These need to be sent to us to be signed off by our Chef’s before your invites are sent. When you send out your invitations, you only need to ask if guests are vegetarian or if they have any other dietary requirements or allergies, so you can then pass this information on to us at the same time you finalise your table plan.
Afternoon Tea Please make your selections on the items which require a choice. These need to be sent to us to be signed off by our Chef’s before your invites are sent. When you send out your invitations, you only need to ask if guests are vegetarian or if they have any other dietary requirements or allergies, so you can then pass this information on to us at the same time you finalise your table plan. Please note your centrepieces should be modest not exceeding 12 inches across, as we need to fit cake stands on the table.
Canapés If you have canapés already selected, or would like to add these on, please send through your selections with the rest of your menu choices (option can be found in the Food & Drinks Brochure). We highly suggest that for Buffets / Hog Roasts / Afternoon Teas / Early Ceremonies / Church Ceremonies that you provide canapés during the photo opportunity.
Children We have a child friendly menu for your young guests which can be found in our wedding breakfast brochure. Children are able to have half portions of the adult food as well as the choice picked from the children's menu.We classify children to be anyone under the age of 12, who are old enough to eat a full meal (babies who are not eating do not need to be charged for, but do need to be included on your table plan). Any child old enough to be in a high chair should be catered for, or the parents notified they won't be - otherwise there can be an awkward situation on the day when the parent asks where their child's meal is.
Regardless of your Wedding Breakfast choice you must confirm your chosen menu to us as soon as you have decided (including canapés), in writing (via email) for us to confirm and sign off – before you send out invites.
Suppliers In your final meeting you will be asked whether your suppliers require a meal. This normally only applies to people who are here all day (i.e. photographer/videographer). If so, they will eat the same main meal you and your guests are having, they will eat in the bar area (not with you) and will be charged at £12.50 per meal.
