This meeting normally takes place between 2-7 days prior to your wedding; in which you will bring all of the décor for your special day and meet with a member of the team who will be setting up the venue on the morning of your wedding. You can use this opportunity to speak to them and let them know where you would like everything to go. Please see below an advised list of what to bring (this is not applicable to all weddings, so you'll only need to bring items relating to your plans):
- Table Plan
- Table Numbers/Name Cards (or if you prefer you can use our table numbers)
- Centrepieces – including any other table decorations you may have.
- Name Place Cards – Please provide these in order and separated by table. (If you’re having a 3 choice menu, remember to include people’s meal choices on the back as well).
- Activity Packs for Children – this can consist of anything you wish (we ask that you provide colouring pencils only please - no pens or crayons)
- Ceremony Music and Background Music – as previously discussed this must be provided on an iPod/iPad or other similar electronic device (our system uses an AUX cable, so if the device has a headphone socket, this is absolutely fine).
- Décor for Register Signing Table - if applicable – this can also be used to go on the top table also & for Cake table/other areas
- Card Box
- Guest Book and Pen – if required
- Order of the Day sign/blackboard
- Any spare decoration you may want to provide for the venue itself – this can include décor for the Barn, Marquee, Lounge or outside.
Items you cannot bring on your decor drop off...
- Cut flowers which will expire before the day
- Cakes
As your Décor Drop Off meeting will likely be several days before your wedding, storing wedding décor items overnight is available, at your own risk. Please note, all décor and wedding items must be removed that evening if you are not staying, or the following morning before 10am if you are staying with us. If you have any items that are accidentally left behind, we will notify you and ask that they are collected promptly within 7 days.
