Quite frankly, nothing would be adequate but suffice to say, Thank you so much.
From start to finish, everything has been brilliant. Every member of the team has been superb and on point, we have never felt any contact was disjointed. Whomever we dealt with knew exactly what was planned and happening.
The lead up, and the day itself, was effortless.
Although millions of couples have married before, we honestly felt like we were the only ones who had ever done it, we felt that special and exclusive by yourselves.
Thanks not only to yourselves as a team, but to the chefs and staff at The Ferry House.

We love the Ferry House, have had lots of lovely meals there. For our wedding it was the perfect setting with the fairy lights and hops which was totally the winter vibe we were going for. It's such a cozy venue. The staff were all lovely too, there was no pressure at any point. We took a while to decide and asked lots of questions which were always answered quickly, but again never any pressure to book. Maxine was fantastic, she was enthusiastic about our day and at the same time totally got our chilled out and minimal fuss vibes. She always had helpful suggestions for us and made us feel totally at ease. Her constant reassurance of what would happen on the day was great. We just want to say a HUGE thank you to the whole team. Not just for the day (which was perfect in every way) but for every element of the planning. Everyone has been so friendly and helpful and it made all the difference to us. Every single visit we came away feeling happy and excited. We have memories to last a life time and it's all thanks to the amazing team.

I couldn’t fault how well every body was with replying to questions via email, how well things were explained and planned out. The care for our belongings and the time spent to make sure our day was perfect and how we imagined it.

The staff at this venue elevate it to another level. Nothing was too much to ask them, they bent over backwards and went above and beyond at every request and question. And they do everything with a smile on their face, nothing feels like an issue. I know that weddings are something they do every day, but I could have believed this was also the one and only most special day of the staff’s lives, not just ours, because of the genuine excitement, care and support they had for us the entire way. The people working at the Ferry House are very, very special.

Everything was absolutely superb - from the gorgeous venue itself, to the amazing staff, from Maxine and Ellie during the planning/co-ordinating stages, to Vicky and her team (I’m sorry I can’t remember all of their names but I’m sure there was a Jess and Chloe who were super helpful and friendly). Every single one of you really did contribute to the perfect day for us.
The twilight package itself was perfectly tailored to our needs and requirements, whereas other venues didn’t offer the same accommodation to our needs (I.e. on site rooms, complete control over how we wanted to plan our day etc).
The venue itself as said was absolutely stunning, and we really love how FHI promotes its own sustainability with its own food products and sourcing local Kent drinks etc.
The barn in particular was a huge factor for us as it is just perfect and where we wanted our dream wedding to be.

We loved how remote and rustic it was. It felt so homely and super chilled and was exactly the right vibe we wanted. We liked how stress free everything was from start to finish, the venue and the people were so helpful and lovely.

We would like to thank every member of staff at the ferry house, our guests commented on how friendly and helpful they were throughout our three days and the time they took to ensure myself and my husband were ok was just amazing.
Nothing was too much trouble and they had a solution for everything. One of my decorations would not go as planned so they pulled together and came up with an alternative for us which worked fantastically and we were so grateful. The person doing my cake didn’t show so they came up with an alternative again and no stress was brought to myself or my husband.
We are so grateful and pleasure with our experience at the ferry house and we will never be able to express our gratitude.
So many of our guests have said they cannot wait to return with their families because of the fantastic food and service.
Thank you again, we will never forget our wedding day and we cannot wait to return.

The Ferry house is an absolutely amazing , our wedding day was magical.
Our guests all said what a beautiful venue.
The food is outstanding and all the staff are very helpful. From the first planning meeting up to the day of the wedding.
Nothing was too much trouble if I had a query they was always at the end of email.
Myself and the bridal party stayed at the cottages the night before, this really added to the excitement of our wedding day.
The rooms at the Ferry house are decorated to a high standard and are very comfortable. The food is amazing.

I’m not sure I can just choose one thing I liked most, our day was perfect and don’t think there is a thing that I would have changed. The venue was stunning, the food was amazing all the staff were so helpful. I honestly can’t thank you all enough for making it the most perfect day.

I don’t even know where to start - the Ferry House was the perfect venue for our big day. Nothing was too much trouble and they made the whole planning process so easy. I have worked at weddings myself and know how venues can sometimes be difficult and reluctant to help with certain things but not the Ferry House! They decorated the venue with my diy decorations without any issues, they answered my constant emails (crazy quickly!) and even put up with me doing everything last minute! The actual day itself, they were so helpful, excited for us and just made us feel amazing! The venue is just absolutely gorgeous - nearly every guest came up to us on the day to tell us how amazing it was and they honestly felt it was the best wedding they had been to! All thanks to the Ferry House. If we could do it all again we would both choose the ferry house again in an instant.

The venue is just beautiful, the additions of the improved outside furniture and glass fencing really are fab, giving brilliant views across the estuary. The new getting ready room was amazing, we felt lucky for it to be ready for our day!

You really have thought of practical and personalised things; our favourite drink at the end of the aisle, time away together in the wedding garden, slices of cake brought to our room. Many other venues didn't consider these things. Also being able to stay with out friends and families in such beautiful surroundings was another positive, so we didn't need to travel at the end of our day and it elongates the wedding being able to have breakfast together the next day.

The 2 day wedding option. A fantastic opportunity to celebrate with our family and closest friends and spread our wedding over a few days.
We had time to relax and settle into our stunning rooms (and be pampered with a massage from Katy) in the afternoon before spending the evening eating delicious food in the barn with our guests.
The staff at The Ferry House took the stress out of our wedding day and everything ran smoothly. The personal touches and little gestures (postcards in the rooms and signage in the barn) from the team made us feel like we were special and they just couldn't do enough to make us feel comfortable.
Our Ferry House DJ was awesome too, our Garage set was out of this world and the Take That medley at the end was fantastic, especially the sneaky last song that topped the evening off - thank you.
Having two 'getting ready' rooms was such a treat. The Garden Lodge is stunning a wonderful new addition to the whole establishment.
Maxine was fabulous! No questions were too silly or too much to answer.
As our journey progressed and the wedding got closer Maxine was available for telephone calls and emails and really helped us feel as ease.
On the day, nothing was too much trouble. Maxine and Beth made sure both Dave and I were ok and had everything we needed with regular check-ins.

We were looking for a space that we could imagine ourselves getting married in, we didn't want a "wedding venue", or a space used for weddings, we wanted somewhere that blended well with the original purpose of the building but felt special, the Ferry House hits the nail on the head with that!
All staff from gardeners to waiting staff to the events coordinators were friendly, professional and polite. It made us feel so comfortable throughout our whole wedding process from originally looking around to checking out the day after the wedding.

Just Thank you ... For someone who likes everything just so ... I cannot thank you enough for making my dream wedding come to life. Every detail you nailed. We cannot wait to visit for a night away! We loved the weekend package and how remote and beautiful the area was, having the Friday evening and Sunday breakfast included made the weekend feel very relaxed and like we had all stepped away from normal life to pause for the weekend. Our guests all loved this as well and everyone kept commenting on how amazing the whole weekend was and thanking us for bringing them to such a beautiful area.
Having the Friday night also meant we had more time to spend with our family who had travelled far to be there which meant we didn't feel as guilty staying on the dancefloor all night!
We both work in sustainability focussed jobs and, I personally have a passion for sustainable food. There were very few venues which offered anything of that nature so when we saw the Ferry house we had to come visit!

Having the Friday night also meant we had more time to spend with our family who had travelled far to be there which meant we didn't feel as guilty staying on the dancefloor all night!
We both work in sustainability focussed jobs and, I personally have a passion for sustainable food. There were very few venues which offered anything of that nature so when we saw the Ferry house we had to come visit!

The dream venue - the team at the ferry house couldn’t have made our day more perfect. The service on the day, the help throughout the entire wedding process, the flexibility of the entire staff to accommodate my bridezilla requests - cannot fault them in any way. I want to do it all over again and would always choose the ferry house!

We decided we wanted a winter wedding, in Kent, and somewhere with accommodation and dog friendly.
I’d never heard of the ferry house until we were looking for a wedding venue. But it was the first and only place we looked at.
Once we’d seen it, we knew this is where we wanted to get married.
Everything! From the moment we first saw the Ferry house to the moment our wedding day came to end. It has been perfect. The staff, the venue, the food, the atmosphere.
Maxine was our coordinator on the day. She was amazing. I felt completely comfortable from the moment we met when I dropped off the decor a few days before. She was down to earth, yet professional.
The wedding was amazing. She managed the day perfectly. Thank you Maxine.

Now that we're finally catching up on life, we just wanted to send the BIGGEST thank you to the whole team.
Our day was perfect and that is thanks to all of you. There is nothing that we would change.
From the team beforehand replying to my 1000's of emails, to the team on the day, who helped calm my nerves and then had to deal with all of the crazy, drunken guests (they had a great time!). You all deserve a medal.
It's been the little touches throughout that made everything so amazing. We can't wait to go on our gin tour and return for our anniversary meal.
Honestly, thank you so much again!! We are now looking forward to the official photos and video so we can relive the whole day again.

This venue was honestly a picture postcard dream come true and the staff that work their absolutely match this with their level of service. From initial meetings through to our big day the event teams efficiency, attention to detail and just all round attentiveness to us was more than we could have hoped for. On the day everything was beyond smooth and the food was exceptional. I'm still now (nearly 3 months on) having people comment on the quality of their meals!
If I could do it all over again I would still choose The Ferry House.

The planning team are so helpful, never made you feel you was being a pain or to much. Our planner changed on the day, but we was kept informed and everything went as planned, not as planned but BETTER! We couldn't have asked for more. I was so nervous before walking down the aisle, about crying - Victoria said 'tongue on the roof of your mouth' it worked - things like this, advice and everything going to plan and being where it should - all just made the day amazing, we were able to relax and just enjoy every moment!

A good sized dance floor allowed for a great party, and a special mention to the DJ Carl, the dancefloor was never empty!

The staff were very knowledgeable and were able to advise us on how to make our day run smoothly. Everyone we dealt with was approachable, kind and helpful - Sam, Georgie, Ellie, Beth, Kim, Vicky - thank you all! We really enjoyed the tasting evening and it was great to be able to bring our parents to this. The staff did a fantastic job with putting up our decor and bringing it all to life. The wedding day itself was absolutely amazing - we have had many comments from guests about the fantastic food and beautiful venue!

The whole experience from start-finish was faultless.
The staff could not do more for us and every request was handled amazing which helped create our perfect wedding. The response times for emails was perfect and did not add on any unnecessary stress when planning the big day.
The location of the venue right on the water is amazing with the most incredible views.
The venue inside was very relaxed and we felt that because it was so naturally beautiful it did not need too much decoration which was a massive positive for us.

The venue looked perfect on our wedding day. The staff arranged everything exactly how we wanted it to be, it couldn’t have looked better even if we had decorated it ourselves! Every aspect of the day went flawlessly, staff were always available to help us and we felt really relaxed because everyone made us feel so at ease (in the lead up to the wedding day as well as on the day itself).

Everyone was amazing and friendly, we had the homely magic the entire time which not only put us at ease, but made our guests more comfortable too. The venue is visually amazing and all of the staff take it to another level!
Another simple, but major thing was how well we were welcomed every time we visited. Every member of staff welcomed us in such a friendly manner and immediately offered us drinks whilst we waited. It made us know we’d made the right decision every time we came back.
The biggest instant appeal was the gazebo with the surrounding scenery.
The next big factor for us is that we wanted an outdoor wedding, however in the scenario of rain we could move into the barn which is also a beautiful setting. Most other venues either had a lovely outside or inside but The Ferry House is the only one we found where we loved both options.

Firstly our wedding coordinator "Sam". She was amazing from start to then our special day. It was lovely meeting Sam in person for all our meetings and also getting back to us so quickly with any queries we had. The Ferry House team as a whole were all so lovely, such a lovely team and nothing was ever to much trouble. It was the little gestures that went a long way for us. Our wedding day went perfect and everything I could imagine and that was a massive thanks to the Ferry House Team.
