Generic Time Scale...
Please note, these dates may not all be applicable to weddings booked within a shorter time frame.
7 Days after your Deposit has been paid...
- The T&C’s which you have been emailed need to be signed and returned within 7 days of booking your wedding.
- Once we have received your T&C’s, if you are booking your ceremony here, you will be sent the link to the Ceremony Booking Form. Please submit the ceremony booking form once you have decided on a ceremony time and location (If the location is dependent on weather i.e. you want to be married outside unless it’s raining, please select Gazebo, as on the day if it rains, we’ll automatically move you into the Barn). If this applies, your ceremony will be booked with KCC once you have returned the completed form. KCC will then contact you directly with all further information, regarding the ceremony part of the day (i.e. notice of marriage and fees).
First Planning Meeting...
Depending on how far in advance you have booked your wedding, you will be invited for a Catch Up meeting in a time frame which is applicable to your wedding. This will just be an informal meeting to see where you are at with planning, to answer questions, as it can often have been a while since we last saw each other and offer advice on what you’ll need to start doing etc. to make sure you are all on track with your plans.
28 weeks before the Wedding...
- Menu: We prefer to agree your menu with you as soon as you have decided what you would like, but at 7 months as an absolute minimum. Your menu must be signed off by us (to ensure suitability to season and in terms of sourcing) prior to you sending out your invites. If invites are sent without first being signed off, they will have to be changed if there is a problem with your choices.
20 weeks before the Wedding...
We will request you attend a meeting to draft your itinerary. We will go over plans and update your itinerary with detailed timings and information for your day and discuss décor plans etc.
12 weeks before the Wedding...
You need to have either confirmed or cancelled any B&B rooms that are being provisionally held for you by this date. You will be sent a ‘Room Booking Options’ list earlier on in your planning stage, so we can clarify if you are paying for your rooms, or your guests are paying direct.
4 weeks before the Wedding...
- Final meeting: If you haven’t already done so in previous meetings, you will be invited for a Final Meeting where we will finalise your wedding itinerary and update your quote if necessary ready for your final payment. If this has already been covered in your previous meeting. We’ll just have a quick read through of your wedding itinerary when you are here for your Décor Drop off, to ensure no last minute details have changed.
- Seating Plan. Your seating plan, menu totals and final numbers now due.
2 weeks before the Wedding...
Final confirmation of definite numbers and the remaining balance of your bill is now due.
2-7 days before the Wedding...
Your décor drop off will take place at this time (the last time we'll see you before the big day!)
